Success Story of a Young Entrepreneur Farmer :
Sri Binod roy is an energetic, strong decision maker and pre planner innovative farmer of Jamalpur block. His father was also a practically improved farmer. His main source of income was also agriculture and cattle farming. But his income was meagre in past scenario. Sri Binod roy had co-operated in farming and cattle rearing work to his father. He had seen his father’s drudgery labour for agriculture. At that time, they faced economic crisis at the time of marriage, medical treatment and other economical required situation. He had decided to enhance gross family income by cultivating land and rearing cattle in scientific manner. He has gotten scientific knowledge related farming & cattle rearing in farmer’s trainings, kisan gosthi, kisan chaupal and other programme organized by KVK, Munger. He has also observed several research and demonstration plots during exposure visit and kisan mela visit programme. He has also successfully performed OFTs, FLD, Seed production works at his farm which was conducted by KVK,Munger.

He has also adopted new technology and was gorwn by following integrated nutrient management, pest management technology for oilseed (Mustard variety RGN 48) during Rabi 2017-18.
